Important notice: Travelator upgrade – future proofing Castle Towers

We are pleased to confirm that we are upgrading the travelators located in the Atrium near Freshworld and Senario Cafe between Levels 1 & 2.

The upgraded travelators will increase the accessibility and convenience of Castle Towers for our community, providing upgraded, energy efficient and more reliable access between Level 1 and Level 2.

Works are scheduled to commence on Monday 9 January, and while it is still too early to confirm exact timings, we expect the project to be complete by late March.

During this time, alternate access between Levels 1 & 2 in this part of the Centre will be available.

To access Level 1 from Level 2, please use the stairs or escalator towards Myer or the lifts behind Blue Sky Kids Land or Strandbags.

To access Level 2 from Level 1, please use the stairs or escalator towards Kmart or the lifts behind Miracle Supermarket or Roll’d.

We will be installing wayfinding signage to help our community navigate their way through this part of the Centre while these works are underway.

Castle Towers will remain open as usual throughout these works, and we will be working to minimise impacts for our local community as part of our construction management plan.
